FAQ
Common pricing questions
What happens at the end of the 30-day trial?
Your card is charged for your first month on day 31. We email a reminder 7 days before the trial ends and again on the day. You can cancel any time before the renewal date with zero charge — the card-required-upfront is just to remove the friction of upgrading later.
Is there a weekly cap on transcripts?
No. Both Professional and Enterprise have unlimited transcripts — capture or upload as many meetings as you like, weekly or otherwise. We don't throttle.
Can I switch between Professional and Enterprise?
Yes — at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. No exit fees.
Why does Enterprise have a minimum seat count?
Enterprise unlocks org-wide Teams capture, shared workspaces, and admin controls — features that only make sense for a team. The 10-seat minimum keeps the per-seat price low while reflecting the actual workload.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes — annual prepay gives you 2 months free (about 17% off). You can switch billing interval any time from /billing once signed in.
Do you offer discounts?
For verified non-profits, education institutions, and registered charities we'll typically discount 30%. Email hello@saasyn.com with proof of status and we'll set it up.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You retain access until the end of your billing period. After that, your account is deactivated and your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion — so a re-subscribe inside that window restores everything. You can also request a full JSON export at any time.
Do you offer refunds?
The 30-day trial is the refund — cancel any time before day 31 and you're never charged. After billing starts, we don't pro-rata refund the current period (use the time you've paid for), but if you were charged after attempting to cancel, or something genuinely broke on our side, email hello@saasyn.com — we sort that out by hand, no policy gymnastics.
Do I pay VAT on top?
Yes if you're in the UK or EU — Stripe Tax calculates the right rate at checkout based on your business location. For B2B customers with a valid VAT number, we apply the reverse-charge mechanism (no VAT charged).
