Affiliate Program Terms.

By enrolling in the summri Affiliate Program, you agree to the terms below. These exist to keep the program clean, fair, and durable for everyone. We update them rarely, and we'll email you when we do.

1. Commission

You earn 20% of each invoice paid by customers you refer, for a period of 24 months from each customer's sign-up date. Commission accrues on the net amount of each invoice (after any discounts, refunds, or tax). After 24 months from sign-up, no further commissions accrue for that customer, regardless of how long they remain a customer.

2. Hold period and payouts

Each commission is held for 60 days from the date of the underlying paid invoice. This protects against refunds and chargebacks. After 60 days, commissions are released into your balance.

Payouts run monthly via Stripe Connect. Minimum payout threshold is £50 — balances below this carry forward to the following month. You're responsible for declaring affiliate income to your local tax authority.

3. Attribution

We use last-touch attribution with a 90-day cookie. If a visitor clicks your affiliate link and signs up within 90 days, the referral is yours. If they click a different affiliate link in that window, the most recent click wins.

Attribution requires that the visitor:

  • arrives at summri.ai with your ?aff=CODE query parameter;
  • has cookies enabled in their browser;
  • completes sign-up within the 90-day window;
  • pays at least one invoice (trials that never convert don't count).

4. Prohibited tactics

The following are violations of these terms:

  • Self-referral — referring yourself or any account where you are the billing contact, employee, family member, or have a financial interest. Same applies to circular referrals between connected accounts.
  • Brand-keyword bidding — paid search ads (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Reddit Ads, etc.) targeting summri, summri.ai, or any variation, including typos, plurals, and brand-adjacent terms.
  • Typo-squat domains — registering or using domains designed to be confused with summri.ai.
  • Cookie stuffing — dropping affiliate cookies onto visitors without disclosure, via iframes, image pixels, browser extensions, or any other non-consensual mechanism.
  • Misrepresentation — making false claims about summri's features, pricing, security posture, customer base, or any material fact.
  • Spam — unsolicited bulk email, Reddit posts that violate subreddit rules, irrelevant comments under social posts, etc.
  • Impersonation — claiming to be a summri employee, partner, or official reseller (unless you have a separate signed partner agreement with us).

Violations may result in: commission forfeiture, account suspension, permanent ban from the program, and (in serious cases) legal action. We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and pause payouts during investigation.

5. Disclosure

You must disclose your affiliate relationship to your audience where required by law (FTC, ASA, equivalent local regulators). A simple “I earn a commission if you sign up via this link” is sufficient.

6. Refunds and clawbacks

If a customer cancels and is refunded within 60 days of paying an invoice, the commission on that invoice is reversed — deducted from your pending balance, or from a future payout if already paid out.

Commissions on invoices older than 60 days are not clawed back if the customer later cancels — they're yours to keep. Future months simply don't accrue once the customer stops paying.

7. Program changes and termination

We may change commission rates, hold periods, or other program terms with 30 days' notice emailed to you. Changes apply to future commissions only; previously-earned commissions are unaffected.

We may terminate your participation at any time for violation of these terms, or terminate the program entirely with 60 days' notice. On termination, any vested unpaid commissions remain payable subject to minimum-payout threshold.

8. Tax and reporting

You are responsible for declaring affiliate earnings to your local tax authority. We process payouts via Stripe Connect, which collects required tax forms (W-9 for US-based affiliates, equivalents elsewhere) directly from you during onboarding.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
